Seeding / Overseeding

Seeding (or "overseeding") is the process of planting seed directly into existing lawn to fill in bare spots, improve density, and enhance the overall appearance and color of your lawn.

As grasses age, thinning is natural. Overseeding helps to keep your lawn healthy and lush.

LAWN AERATING

Lawn aeration can make your lawn healthier and reduce it's overall maintenance requirements by providing improved air exchange to the roots and allowing better absorption of water and nutrients. Helps with compacted, clay soils, or areas impacted with heavy foot traffic.

FERTILIZING

A vital component in maintaining a lush and healthy lawn. Be sure to water your lawn well afterwards to ensure absorption and avoid fertilizer burn of the grass blades.

LIME TREATMENTS

Grass grows best in slightly acidic soil, with a pH between 6.5 and 7. The proper soil acidity will allow your lawn to better absorb nutrients and fertilizer. Lawns in regions with more rainfall, such as the Pacific Northwest, may require more regular lime treatments. Poor growth and moss are also indicators that your lawn may need lime. Regular applications are important for your lawn to thrive.
